The Saltarelle Awen is one of Saltarelle’s premium models. Besides the beautiful finish and distinct artwork on the grille, the size of the instrument is most noteworthy. With only 26.7 x 14.7 x 28.8 cm, this accordion is one of the most compact three-voice accordions we have seen. Not surprisingly, it plays light as a feather and responds beautifully over a broad dynamic range due to its Tipo a Mano Italian reeds. Unlike other famously compact three-voice accordions, the bass sound is full and rich, just like you would hear it on a larger three-voice accordion with more resonance space. 

The accordion is swing tuned and comes with one treble stop on the melody side to play either MM or LMM and a bass stop to switch on the thirds. Timeless cherry wood with elegant styled open fretwork on the grille and flat keyboard. As with all Saltarelle accordions, the keyboard action is very fast and light to the touch.
